Here is New Harbour later renamed to Parson's Harbour,It was once known to be a very active fishing outport community, for the inshore fisherman that once lived there.Around the 1960's & 70's reform was introduced which we know today as the resettlement program of Joey Smallwood.Family's that lived there later resettled in near by town's lke Burgeo, Francios Ramea & right up to Fortune Bay.
